I remember dreaming of flying back when I was about 3 years old.  I remember driving down the road with my hand out the window and the wind would cause my hand to go up and down.  Ever since then, I have always wanted to fly.  As a child, I got to travel quite a bit by small planes back in the bush.  I have been seated on top of the luggage in the luggage compartment of a Small Cessna 210 (???).  I have had chickens in my lap during some of the small hops.  I loved it when we would buzz the runway to clear the animals and kids off so we could land.  Very fond memories for sure.

But, due to a lack of 20/20 vision, I have had to put this aside and pursue a different career.  I had wanted to get into the Air Force, but did not know any generals that would sign me on because of my need for corrective lenses.  Things have changed since then, I understand not that they have relaxed that requirement somewhat.
